Sint Maartenskliniek
The Sint Maartenskliniek in Nijmegen and Woerden is the only hospital in the Netherlands that specialises in posture and movement and the leader in the Nederlands and Europe. The hospital covers the entire spectrum of movement and posture disorders, from the simple to the very complex, in orthopaedics and rheumatology. Our hospital in Nijmegen also has a rehabilitation centre for rehabilitation after illness, an accident or brain injury. 50.000 people are treated in the Sint Maartenskliniek each year. 1.600 employees, including 80 medical specialists and residents ensure the best treatment of our patients.
Radboud REshape & Innovation Center
Throwing a stone in the pond starting a ripple.
Goal of this center is to promote and stimulate the migration of Health 2.0 through Participatory Medicine into Participatory Healthcare.
Trends, innovations and (patient)experiences, in a com-passionated setting, to us are key in developing REshaped healthcare : the best of now combined with the best of the future.
The center is established October 2010 by the Executive Board of Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center, The Netherlands.

Part of the Center is also the European section of the Global Social Media Health Network, in a partnership with the Mayo Clinic.

Scientists got interesting experiences and knowledge; to bring these experiences and knowledge to the market, they need commercial knowledge and insight into the market. Health Valley is the portal to link knowledge and opportunities in the biomedical and healthcare sectors.
Health Valley is a Trait d'union between scientists and entrepreneurs. They help companies and research institutions to develop their ideas. Health Valley wants to develop the region in the eastern of the Netherlands and create an environment where companies and research/health institutions successfully operate. Focused on the Netherlands, the Eu-region and the rest of the world; Health Valley wants to generate economic value.
Our knowledge, experience and network in the biomedical and healthcare sector are wide. We bring together demand and supply, matchmaking, we set up projects and initiate cooperation between industry and research institutions. We help companies start up, support business in the region and assist in finding funding and provide the necessary publicity. We show what Health Valley has to offer.
Health Valley is a project run by the Development Agency East Netherlands (Oost NV) and Syntens.
The Health Valley project got a financial support from the European Union / Euro Work, Province Gelderland, UMC St Radboud and the municipalities Nijmegen and Arnhem.
Pontes Medical
Pontes Medical believes that we can shape future care by working on novel medical devices. From within three university medical centres, we organise the transformation of clinical needs into commercializable medical devices. For every new product idea, we build a new partnership between health care institutions and companies. Each partner invests his own part in making the device to work, to clinically validate it, to make it ready for production and to sell it. In doing so, we bridge the gap between health care professionals and the commercial world. Today, we have two products that are available on the market, and many more flowing through our development pipeline.
Deerns
Deerns is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering company founded in 1928 to provide expert design services in the fields of Energy Supply, Sustainability, MEP systems and Master Planning. We excel in combining sustainable and innovative concepts with reliable and practical implementation to help our clients build comfortable, safe and sustainable working and living environments. To that end, we develop - from the first concept to detailed design and construction management - the technical and technological infrastructure of buildings and related facilities. While we serve a wide range of clients realizing smaller projects, we are specialists in assisting complex organizations in the resolution of complex technical challenges.
Deerns plays a leading role as technical consultants and engineers. We make a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience available to our clients, combined with the enthusiasm of our highly dedicated, service-oriented professional and support staff. Groot Klimmendaal
Rehabilitation Medical Centre, RMC, Groot Klimmendaal offers specialised rehabilitation treatment for children, adolescents and adults who are confronted with a (potential) disability as a result of a disease, an accident or a birth impairment. The treatment in our rehabilitation medical centre focuses on offering patients the possibility to regain autonomy in their lives thus preventing them from being dependent on permanent healthcare. In this way they can participate in society without any restrictions.
We specialise in children's rehabilitation, rehabilitation of neurological and orthopaedic disorders and we have a unique medium care respiratory unit where patients from all over the country who need the combination of rehabilitation and assisted ventilation can be treated. Besides inpatients' rehabilitation in our headquarters in Arnhem, we also offer outpatients' rehabilitation treatment on various locations in Gelderland, depending on the type of referral and the patients' rehabilitation stage.

MIRA works closely with hospitals, the business community and governmental organizations, aiming to secure its leading position in Europe.
Our multidisciplinary approach enables us to make innovative contributions across a wide spectrum within healthcare. MIRA's research will result into the development of new techniques to repair damaged tissue, such as bone and skin. It helps to create drugs that are targeted in their effects and enables doctors to diagnose more effectively through the use of improved imaging techniques. Furthermore, MIRA offers patient-focused solutions in rehabilitation technology.

Development Agency East Netherlands (Oost NV) is a regional business development and

KNGF
The Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy (KNGF) is the oldest professional organisation for physical therapy in the world and the only professional organisation for physical therapy in The Netherlands. It was established in 1889. On its 100th anniversary in 1989, the Dutch Queen awarded the society a royal designation.
KNGF's mission
The KNGF's objective is to create the right conditions to ensure optimal physical therapy care and qualityaccessible for the whole of the Dutch population and recognition for the professional expertise of the physical therapist.
The professionalism and top quality care offered by the Dutch physical therapist is highly recognized nationally and internationally. The physical therapist has secured an important role in the healthcare chain and continues to expand this role. The KNGF offers support to the physical therapist in curative care as well as preventative care.
Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht

University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht) is one of the largest public healthcare institutions in the Netherlands. With almost 10,000 employees, UMC Utrecht is constantly building on the provision of good healthcare services, based on the right people and knowledge. Healthcare cannot improve without new knowledge about health and disease, and patients will not receive better healthcare without people who can generate, apply and share this knowledge. Rijksuniversiteit Groningen
The Rijksuniversiteit Groningen is a university of which the academic education and research are internationally renowned. In almost every subject area there are courses for bachelor-, master- and PhD- students. Research and the writing of a doctoral thesis is done under the supervision of dedicated teachers, who cooperate with each other within their institute or faculty. Besides a study of your choice the RUG also offers a stimulating environment. Groningen is an extraordinary studenttown, with a flourishing student life, where there is always something exciting to do.
Hanzehogeschool
The Hanzehogeschool Groningen has establishments in Groningen, Assen, Leeuwarden and Amsterdam and counts over 24.000 students and 2.600 members of staff. The Hanzehogeschool Groningen is the oldest multisectoral university in the Netherlands, it celebrated its 210th anniversary in 2008.
With over 30 professors, the university has become a research establishment for applied research. This of course happens in close cooperation with the industry and non-profit orginizations. The course offerings of the Hanzehogeschool Groningen consists of 70 bachelorcourses, 4 programmes for Associate degree and 13 mastercourses. The courses are offered in Dutch, as well as German and English. On a yearly basis about 1.500 students from the industry profit from the contract education at HanzeConnect, the commercial service provider of the university.

AVL
The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (AvL) society is the student society for all the students of the BioMedical Engineering and BioMechanical Design master tracks at the Delft University of Technology, or for those who have close affiliation with it. Since the foundation in January 2006, the society has around 250 members. Our aim is to motivate and interest the members in general and to provide them with activities relevant to the subject of their studies.
