International Health Battle
The International Health Battle is for students to meet, compete and innovate. The Battle is powered by Rijnstate, where the preliminary round will be held. Health Valley is the media partner and will act as the host for the finals of the International Health Battle on march 15, 2012.

Register as a Student?
Would you like to participate in the International Health Battle? Register now! The Health Battle is an initiative of StudentStock. In order to register for the International Health Battle you need to create an account on the StudentStock website. In order to do so, please go to Sign Up and fill out your personal information. This way you are creating an account and profile on the StudentStock website which will enable you to register for the Battle. Do you already have a StudentStock account? Then you are requested to login on your StudentStock page in order to register for the event.

Register as a team?
It is possible to sign up as a team. You will then be able to work on a case together with your fellow students or friends. Making a team is fairly simple. After each member created a StudentStock profile the team leader can click on 'My Profile' on the StudentStock site. There you will find the menu item 'Battles'. Here you can fill in the StudentStock numbers of the students with whom you want to collaborate. They will then receive an invitation. After accepting this invitation your team will be created.

Entering the Battle as a company?
If you are not a student, but a company operating in the Health Sector, we cordially invite you to join our event with your own personal case study, applicable to current issues you as a company are facing. Each participating company hands in a case study, to which the students will find an innovative solution. Curious as to what last year Bachelor or Master students can do for you? Selection of Teams
One week prior to the Health Battle, your company will select two teams of five students. In order to do so your company will receive access to a special Health Battle Talent Pool on the website. For every case study that you submit you can invite ten students. After a day of hard work, the students will represent their results to an expert jury during a two-minute pitch. The judges will choose a total of five teams based on carefully selected criteria. These teams will be able to enter the finals of the Health Battle. During the day you are free to contact the students and guide them in the case study. Besides that, you will be able to meet all the participants via various activities such as a speed network session and the network lunch, which creates an atmosphere suitable for recruitment possibilities.

Marketing and promotion
The promotion of the Health Battle is distributed amongst the biggest national online student network of the Netherlands, called BOM Media. Over 100 well visited student websites will show the information displayed by your company. The International Health Battle will have reached more than 10 million views within the student target audience before the start of the event. Besides that, a newsletter will be send out to the complete database of StudentsMedia, and flyers and posters are spread throughout the biggest student cities of the Netherlands.
